There's a fantastic scene in Breaking Bad where Jesse plays with a beetle. This is the only unevolved beetle Pokémon (Jesse is going to have mostly unevolved Pokémon) Its immature yet spirited nature fits Jesse, especially when that spirit gets crushed like a beetle.

this thing HAS a cool concept with the fake eyes and the plasma ball frog but the execution's abysmal. the eyes look TOO artificial to be organic on the pokémon, and the body shape looks nothing like an actual frog (it's not even good stylization of one either)
