@fuzzybad @bastichb64k @EC64Forum @EverythingC64 I'm more worried about the fighter in the front, on the box-art, looking like he's constipated. 😋 ..I suppose we should be grateful that they put some decent effort into porting this one to the C64. Some of the other arcade ports we had around that time were *terrible.* 😐

Very sad to learn that ex-#C64 artist Martijn Althuizen passed away earlier this year. Martijn (along with his school friend, Harold Klink) helped GTW64 a lot by sharing their work disks to preserve many of their unreleased gems as you can find here:

#Konami #Castlevania #Fanart Grandpa Richter narrating the events of C64. (Since the OG voice actor of Richter, Scott McCulloh is the narrator in that game)
@CommodoreLad @CommodoreBlog Despite the "x is better than y" arguments, I really did enjoy the variety of machines back then. I had my Atari-console friend, my Apple II friend, and my Speccy friend (as well as a few, like me, with a C64.) Also we had Apple II's at school. ..I loved seeing the games on each.
@CommodoreBlog See, now why would anyone these days even be talking about whether to play Carrier Command on the C64 or ZX Spectrum? If you want to play the best version of that, you play it on the Amiga. 😎 As for C64/Speccy comparisons, just try both versions an stick with what you prefer. 👍
@CommodoreBlog @lukhash Brilliant brilliant brilliant game, that Spy vs Spy. 👍
I don't think there was anything else quite like it on the C64. (Excepts Spy vs Spy 2 and 3.) It's almost the perfect two-player game. And they managed to make it real entertaining to play it as a one-player game too! 😁

Played this quite a few times, I liked how you could see the side of the Car rather than just the rear end, Road Blasters from #atari and #usgold

@AntStiller The beauty of C64 screenshots is they're so tiny. 5000 Psi-5 screenshots is only 22MB (once they go through Photoshop for crop+border, and PNG Gauntlet for re-compression.) 🤔 But I don't think I thought this through. Now I have over 300 C64 game folders, and 1.6GB of snaps. 😮
@bastichb64k @EC64Forum @EverythingC64 I was playing through this just a couple of days ago. It's quite a good conversion. Controls are a little finicky. (I think they should have cut down the number of moves.) But I like these later-era C64 games with overlaid sprites. They look so beautiful and cartoon-y. 😎
@AntStiller It's a good job your avatar comes from the C64 version. Cool looking characters in that one. In the PC version? Not so much. 😋

Biggles good fun game, had different scenes from the movie, run around, side scrolling flying, then a flight sim, then fighting in the trenches
