Boop, Colours - Grabbed this Freya piece from @GrindaViking old tumblr, mostly to get more FF9 fat rat stuff. Also fun facts: this image forced me to zoom out my screen to post because I can no longer access the tweet button as the scrollbar has stopped working, thanks twitter
Really takes the pressure off and let’s you see the colours of the image as one whole thing, rather than each individual part. I’m often much less afraid to toy around with colours if I do it at this stage!

If you struggle with colour picking, when I started doing this it changed my life! I block in all my colours super roughly on one layer (and add adjustment layers on top) BEFORE I get down to lineart. Then I flatten it and then colour pick from this layer later. https://t.co/Bq3FPs1WLE

@NightFawnArt in order to give them brighter colours. lower exposure to neon (or magic) can result in more dull colours. The race is almost extinct, but a few individuals have survived in cryo/resurrection and now reside on an earth-like planet. They even have their own language and script!
