a little bit of process! lines from 3d model for bg and drawn by me for the characters > color from 3d model + shading and coloring the lines > paint over model and add color over shading > lighting and adjustments
Since Ryou has a new reference it was also time to give him a new color scheme, I feel like this scheme definitely gives off more oni vibes then the last one did. As a bonus I even included his mask, which might need some small design adjustments.

A quick adjustment on 2 little things that were bugging me after the fact that I couldn't just leave alone like a normal person, lol.
Decided to do some tweaking to an old Pokemon design I did a while ago. Like the softness of the first (right) but it felt "flat," so I just did some color adjustments and added some highlights for a bit of pop.
Day 410: My hand hurts. I also need to practice drawing feet more. I'll do more color adjustment/rough rendering the skin here before putting the clothes on top. It's hard to guess what colors will have good results on the tablet screen and also other screens.
