This was something VERY different, using a video tutorial from derekdomicdsouza on Instagram for the background, I did that first and then added the characters. No pose reference for them and took about 4 hours total.

Whenever I do digital illustrations, they're typically done in vector, using my mouse. But I've been trying to pick up drawing with Clip Studio Paint. It's really different, but hopefully I can get better at it soon. Sorry that work is still taking so long.

Snap N. Koopa here, my very first OC, started off as a much different, younger character named “Keepa Koopa”, and he was a rookie treasure hunter with no combat capability. After canning him for a bit, he was brought back with an interest in photography instead and ice powers.

Obviously, the character design is rather different, but they still look like the right characters, even with the slight color changes... and with their items of human attire out.
