I wanted to do a mockup with and without the eyepatch. This way you can see the scar she hides under it. Because of the color on her pupil being darker in this form, the scar that's there even in normal form becomes more visible. ♥️

and honestly just getting better and more efficient at mockups has been huge all on its own

i'm a visual thinker who is a writer that can't draw for shit so building methods and tools to get around that lack of skill and help myself out makes writing itself much easier
