I still don't understand how the game director of DOTD messed up this badly. The concept art was more true to the OG designs, had balanced anatomy, and such. And he chose the design that looked like an hourglass, looked painful and uncanny. And DOTD Cynder's canonically 15 btw.

the Ayukashi Triangle anime having the character designer for the later Strike the Blood OVAs is an *interesting* decision.

It would never have been my first choice for adapting Yabuki designs, but it does make sense the more I think about it.

the colours on this are VERY inaccurate bc i wanted to combine the games and comics designs, but the filtering made the lighter green WAY more contrasting than i wanted it to be <//3
