okay so with permission from the creator, , I decided to do a slight redesign for his character, stella, to fit more into my style. as she is a playable character so

the idea is that she is pretty much hollow for being an organ donor, so she can distort in many ways!

Here's Jaxon before he died and the aftermath. I wanted to keep the second one a secret at first, like you wouldn't be able to see his face ever, but I thought drawing distorted faces was fun, so now this is canon.

I've updated my shaders. You can now distort the foreground. Additionally, you can offset the distortion and apply new blending techniques. You can download them via the ReShade installer via my GitHub. They will be available for next update!

I'm often asked how I work out depth, light etc... While I enjoy the process of calculating these by eye, I also make perspective construction lines occasionally (bottom left). More recently I use "lens distortion" lines - (not on this older piece though - "Nimbus"). 💜🧡💛🤍

Reposting this piece of my slashersona Disquiet. I fiddled around with it in this pixel filter thing, as well as a filter for distortion and whatnot some time ago.

I commissioned ex-student my first NFT profile:) I asked her to use my distorted face profile. She interpreted it as mysterious smoke and added two dices to show me as a generative artist using random numbers like a magician! I love this so much.
