2008: Mario Kart Wii
Came really close between this and Brawl, and while I'm always nostalgic for Brawl, I still owe it to this game for bringing me into Mario Kart to begin with. Racing gameplay is still as fun as I remember it and the bikes were a neat addition. Great stuff!

2013: The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD
Already I was fascinated with Wind Waker, but to find this definitive edition exists for the Wii U was like a match made in heaven at the time. I'd love to come back to it as it really helped me further invest myself into Zelda.
