I've started that beast in 2017 and abandoned it. Finished it as far as I could during streams in 2020 und finally it's done. It has its flaws but I'm still proud that I pushed through. I wish I could be better at backgrounds.... xD'

2020 was really about exploring different subjects and color, as well as improving lighting, and learning not to rush through my coloring and finding the perfect scale and composition and getting better at backgrounds. I still have a lot more to learn but I definitely improved.

Start a little outside your comfort zone but don't over do it to where you get overwhelmed and don't finish. The first couple pieces of the year were simple, but still backgrounds. None of these required me to use perspective guides or 3d models.
