Day 1060 #ArtKicksCovid19 "Horse in the Landscape" (1910) Franz Marc @museum_folkwang Marc was born on this day in 1884. This is one of the earliest works where Marc, inspired by Kandinsky, experiments with colours. He had a close relationship with animals, especially horses.

In bipedal animals, one femur has to support the entire weight of the animal during locomotion. Because of that, the width of the femur can predict the animal's mass.
