Still on Procreate, I didn't want to go heavy on lineart yet. I wanted to give it a painted feel so I focus on rendering shapes, values, light and shadow. I had already spent some hours on Pinterest searching for reference materials for the armor, shield, dragon and sword.
When revisiting Onyx Voltage, I slightly changed up his color-palette.
While he wears an armor, I want him to still have the same spirit of his younger self. Adventurous and curious about the world he’s in.

@IJNKagaHI3KK No you’re fine. What I find funny though, is when I do Dark Megan/Combat Form, the armor is usually the color the hair is supposed to be with magenta/purple accents to it. I never dictate the color of the armor, the AI just does it.
