I had to tackle this challenge too. Decided to take the one image you didn't try to be accurate to and gave it my own spin.

I love the Freeza and Cell sagas art styles, so I decided to stick to Namek and Vegeta's second armor. The left shoulder was the hardest part to translate.

Lastly, I wanna talk about armor. Armor is definitely the hardest thing to draw consistently. But here’s what you do. Just draw the areas where light is meant to be reflecting, and surround it with heavy shading. Once you do that, use the smudging technique I mentioned.

I think one of the reasons making Iron Man a legacy mantle is so difficult is bc Tony was Iron Man before the armor. The things that makes Iron Man (below) are things Howard forced him to be, but the armor was just a literal metaphor for it, which is enhanced by his disability-
