Attention all citizens!
No matter if you're a citizen of the Union of Britain,
of if you belong in the Kaiserreich. Doesn't matter if you reside in the Empire of Japan or the Republic of Peru.
Keep a safe distance to your fellow human.
Take care of eachother!

This is a letterboxed version of a scene I drew for an X-Men fan account on Instagram (@x_cerpts). It's part of an homage to the cheesy '90s swimsuit issues #Marvel used to put out -- a day at the beach for #Meggan, #CaptainBritain, and their daughter Maggie. #excalibur

#Otd 1752: Gregorian calendar adopted in Ireland & Britain, 170 years after mainland Europe! 2nd Sept followed by 14th! Changed from Julian so Easter date would be more accurate. Named for Pope Gregory XIII who commissioned it. 3rd picture detail from his tomb, celebrating it.
It's not that we're against 'patriotic' songs at the Proms.
It's just that in Post-Brexit Britain, calling us 'Land of Hope and Glory' would be an offence under the Trade Descriptions Act. #Proms #LandOfHopeAndGlory
