Zone of Darkness - 1995 Cherry Software

A promising Flashback clone for the #C64 which featured an impressive intro sequence, but was cancelled due to the team going their separate ways. Test demo + graphic assets were recovered by GTW several years ago.

Monster Museum - 1989 Palace Software.

Cancelled #C64 arcade adventure with a Lara Croft'esq main character. Featuring lost tunes by the late Richard Joseph, the game was eventually dropped due to technical issues. Recovered and released by GTW in 2009.

Frog Dude (Sega #Megadrive). Early platformer that was cancelled due to a lack of confidence in it. Never pitched to publishers as a result. Developer Andy Swann shared the prototype with #GTW back in 2014:

Devious Designs. Wonderfully complex #C64 puzzler by Pete Baron (Myth + Salamander dev), with graphics by Bob Stevenson. Cancelled when focus switched to #Amiga + #AtariST editions, the near complete #C64 edition was recovered by #GTW back in 2006.
