I checked the original Puyo Puyo and it also has a unique error screen. So I started combing through the rest of the 2P Game Gear library, but these are the only games I've come across (so far) that have unique graphics. Others are usually just a blank screen with plain text.

Draw outline off a photo reference in illustrator. Layout graphics. Shade car in photoshop. Back into “AI” & lay out the base of the shirt. Back into photoshop to bring it to life.
