I realize now why I've thoroughly enjoyed the original Mobile Suit Gundam. It gives me the same feelings OT Star Wars does.

These series are definitely not 1-to-1, as there is plenty more moral grey aspects in Gundam. But the vibes that drew me to Star Wars are here.

Today's MS of the Day is the AMS-123X Varguil from Moon Gundam. Predecessor to the Sazabi, this mobile suit uses an improved version of Psycommu. It was damaged in a fight with Londo Bell and was repaired at Moon Moon with the head and psycho plates of a Psycho Gundam MK IV.
