Back when I was a kid I always loved the Super Mario Bros 3 Nintendo Power guide because of the illustrations. seeing pixelated Mario suddenly have 2D art like these made me wish that it'll have an animated movie in the future. I can't believe it's finally happening next month

The proto waist looks better to me because I'm sure that's the correct width in manga illustrations. Although Baki's skin tone is more accurate but I think it needs a bit of a wash. Baki tends to have some highlights in color art.
