Something I haven't seen said about Deep Cut's designs: their tentacles are colored the same way the average Inklings' and Octolings' are, unlike the previous idols who had either black or white with an added tint of color.

Probably doesn't mean anything but it was on my mind

Jellyfish inklings would be so cool
I have anthro jellyfish OCs that have a lot in common with Inklings, I made them before I got into Splatoon though so the similarities are pure coincidence but it is really funny.
The jellyfish characters I have have a lot of lore, too
