Well I have yet to do any actual YCH's, I'd probably do something similar to this

Light blue as the base, a darker blue for the irises and "YCH" text, and make the eyes and teeth white

Personally I recommend drawing irises that are slightly (1) or even strongly (2) closer to the nose over irises that are too far apart (3).

(3) looks a bit derp/unhinged imo whereas (2) can look cute imo

(everyone has their own art style blah no right way to draw blah blah 🥱)
