Reading this... is cancer. Mainstream comics are dead, they killed themselves juggling the "White Milk" of the Twitter crazies and small niches that don't care or buy their books unless they can use it to justify their dad existence.

It's dead Jim.🤦‍♂️ https://t.co/iMtEhMKQpZ

Saw lot of people using this new AI to generate images, so wanted to try.
Saw good results with characters from mainstream animes, but probably isn't trained enough for Machikado.
It can give some recognizable results, but can take some details wrong, especially Shamiko's horns

I think the mainstream, big dawg publishers are complacent when they can just whip out Oliver Coipel or Eddie Barrows caliber whenever they want. The rest of the books end up looking like art you'd see in a coloring book... or worse.

I believe in you, Piper.

Would “the loli must stay” be a valid argument despite her creation being 20+ years before that saying was mainstream

There are also well written women in shounen too, ppl just only watch and read the biggest mainstream stuff.

For example, so many of the women in Yofukashi no Uta are SUCH well written and interesting characters!! https://t.co/sOQhy5TLOI

So... Freddie Gibbs gets his mainstream major label breakthrough with '$oul $old $sperately' and I have some thoughts about it as someone who's been a fan for nearly a decade...

Man, I remembered the time I was obsessed with this manga, Not Equal by Ike Reibun. Although must clarify, it has taboo & heavy themes that's not suitable for mainstream/casual reader.

It may has those things, but I like how self-aware it is, but at the same time...

Just got done watching League of Super Pets and it is a fabulous movie. Great story, great characters and LOTS OF GUINEA PIGS! Second movie that came out this year that had a lot in them. Love how they're becoming a bit more mainstream^^ Enjoy a few screenshots.

capitalism will always abuse/take advantage of the worker if it means getting their product cheaper. it doesn't care about soul or effort. we need to make ourselves heard before this becomes mainstream

Dominion bringing feathers into mainstream media is the most Jurassic Park thing the franchise has done since the OG film introduced mass audiences to the ideas of the dinosaur renaissance

Jurassic should be progressive
