We still have "Lumberjanes" to look forward to on HBO Max, not to mention "The Witch Boy" on Netflix, both known to have positive LGBTQ+ representation. Perhaps one day it'll open the gates for more projects like these, and maybe one day Nimona's return 😁

One of the things I've noticed in "Nimona" is how the setting is similar to "The Boys" (different circumstances). Like Vought International, the government manufactured their heroes and villains. And how did that end up for them?

The Nimona book was great, but to see it on-screen would've been amazing. Action, fun, LGBTQ+ representation, and possibly more. Disney made a mistake canceling the movie that was 75% done. If they think they can celebrate Pride and we'll forget about it, think again!

Nimona deserves more love and attention. Blue Sky may be closed, but Disney still has the unfinished movie. Either keep it and complete it (it's 75% done anyway) or sell it and let someone else do it. You make money either way.

While I am dissapointed that Nimona will not receive a movie at this time, I am happy that some of the employees at Blu Sky found new jobs and hope the others will too.

Finished up a Nimona created by @Gingerhazing in a #DTIYS as part of a discord art theme challenge.
Been a long time since I've drawn something for fun. XP-Pen died on me. Broke a pen trying to fix it. Luckily had a spare.
The LGBTQ+ deserves representation, and Nimona would've been part of it. Disney can either keep it and finish it. Or give it to someone else/sell it, make a quick buck, and let someone else finish it. Canceling it is a waste, especially since it was almost done.

Nimona is just a freaking amazing graphic novel from Noelle Stevenson. The story, the characters, and everything else is just top notch, and I loved every second of this book. Spreading awareness to check out this book. Trust me, you will love it. <33333
