Don't get me wrong, Baynes's illustrations have charm but her figures are so... stiff, her lines are so labored, and scenes are so flat.
It seems like she would have been better suited with a more abstract, iconic style but the demands of the time pushed her the opposite way.
I see this was thoroughly ignored, #WrestlingTwitter preferring misery to knowledge.
Or because, as the cliche goes, "it doesn't fit you narrative."
