Here's a brief description of a project I'm involved with. , , Daniela Schwarz and myself are working on a 3D reconstruction of the rear end of also featuring by yours truly.

Aurorus is here! I took some liberties with the size listed in the Pokédex, but bigger is always better for sauropods, right?

Took a while, but my is fully colored! I held back a bit for this Diplodocus but I am a fan of vibrant colored depictions of sauropods. I might give the next I draw interesting and vibrant colors, we'll just have to see!

I love these kinds of threads, they're so wholesome 💕

I'm Lea and I draw a lot of kaiju and dragons. I am also writing a webcomic that is almost a year old now.

Fun fact about me: my favourite dinosaurs are sauropods and stegosauridae - though I haven't really drawn either 🤔

Xinjiangtitan shanshanensis
(the neck was longer than my artwork shows, its hard to fit sauropods on pages without having to draw them smaller.)

Bayleef is my favorite- I love sauropods and bayleef is a simple but really clean design- meganium good too but I loved chikorita and then bayleef in the series XD

Results from the After the annual exhibition of the art academy I'm back in action.
Mirarce, Gigantoproductus, Bajadasaurus and Pterodacylus.

Check out Bajadasaurus pronuspinax by Gallina et al! That is a bifid beast. What the hell is up with those neural spines (taphonomic?)?! Finally, another taxon that will help us figure out what the heck Amargasaurus-like sauropods were doing with their nuchal ligament.

The neck is composed of an astonishing 17 vertebrae, surpassing most sauropods! It was thus probably somewhat flexible, & arose either through sexual selection or exploiting some ecological niche (upper mid-level browsing?)

This is probably one of the most interesting publications concerning the world of sauropodomorphs this year. Welcome to itaquii we need to found one of like this

Continuing with the series of illustrations of baby dinosaurs I was commissioned to do for a children´s book. Starting on this piece showing some hatchling sauropods. WIP (very early stages)

Palaeoloxodon namadicus can be called a few things- the Asian-straight-tusked elephant, or the Sangauni elephant - "small" is not one of them. This colossus would have looked down at Tyrannosaurus and outweighed its fair share of sauropods.

Sarmientosaurus musacchioi //

It had a small brain, but its massive eye sockets indicated a sharp vision, a unique discovery among the sauropods. Due to their gigantic size, sauropods are rarely preserved and found as a complete animal.

"Brachio Grove" 🌲🦕🌲

I originally created this illustration just to go on silk scarves, but I found that it looks great on other clothing & stuff too. Brachiosaurus is a perennial favorite of mine...sauropods for all seasons, I say!

day 10 with an Amargasaurus sketch! I love sauropods with strange adaptations like massive spikes.

Gigantosaurus seems to be modeled after the similar-sounding Giganotosaurus. Gigantosaurus IS an actual dinosaur species, but they were sauropods and not dragon-eating theropods. Fun stuff!

Just went down a 'sauropods with trunks' rabbit hole
