@nezuware i didn't make the screentone filter fine enough, so i tooled around a bit to make the colours a little more saturated. then, i made a copy of the ink layer, filled it with a deep brown/purple, and used a watercolour brush to make it look faded.

Draft? Somehow I think the reason why I fail to render a good form is my visual library is too empty. I don't know a lot of light scenario and how they affect the value/saturation/edges on a form. Also how these things will change when the forms interact with one another.

Pa las luces en vez de usar el mismito color que tenías pero con mayor oscuridad, te vas una tonalidad hacia la izquierda o derecha de tu tono original. Aquí ya puedes meterle un poco más de blanco, aunque lo recomendable es que te quedes en la zona de mayor saturación.
