#SciArtSeptember Day 11 - Crystallized. Ordinary things often become wild when magnified but snowflakes are particularly cool.
#SciArtSeptember Day 10 "living"
A view of the living landscape from one of my favorite places to sit, which happens to be in a cemetery.
Day 10 and the prompt for today's #SciArtSeptember is 'living'. Here are some Morays!

Woops, I missed yesterday’s #SciArtSeptember so here is my painting of a Living Oceanic Humpback Whale:
For #SciArtSeptember "living," a bit of fun with ecosystem #jargon. #SciComm #SciArt
Trop HS, trop chaud dans les salles, je me contente d'un repost de Selaginella lepidophylla, la fleur de la résurrection, rose de Jericho... pour le prompt d'aujourd'hui du #sciartseptember : #living
For today's prompt: Living
It is a collage from Goya's and Haeckel's work.
Even after we die, the matter circles back to something else that's alive.

Ah... I'm a wee bit behind with #SciArtSeptember, but here are some I prepared earlier for #Oceanic!

#9 for #SciArtSeptember is "Oceanic." 🌊
After recently moving to Florida, I've been thinking a lot more about this subject lately! The shark trio is one of my newest pieces & the starry ammonite is from last year. Both are ink on paper with digital color. 🦈

Des dessins qui auraient pu aussi convenir pour #oceanic du #SciArtSeptember, petite sélection :
Today’s #SciArtSeptember theme is ‘ancient’. I drew someone in the archaeological findings from the Borum Eshøj grave, from the Nordic Bronze Age (1700–500 BC). Inspired by my experience visiting @MuseumMoesgaard while studying with @StudyAbroadDIS .
#SciArtSeptember Day 9: Oceanic
Common #Cuttlefish (Sepia officinalis)
Supercool. The best fish (@franzanth can affirm that).

The first thing that came to mind for the "ancient" #SciArtSeptember prompt were #stromatolites, which are formations created by #cyanobacteria and evidence of the first life on Earth. This is a stylized rendition of a cross section of one of these deposits

#SciArtSeptember day 8: ancient. I’m reposting a piece from last year (cut paper and homemade walnut ink), and also sharing my picture book, High Tide for #HorseshoeCrabs. I love horseshoe crabs, and this book has brought me so much joy! Thank you, @charlesbridge
Probably my favorite image that I consider #sciart is this nautilus one. And it’s perfect for today’s #sciartseptember prompt “ancient” because not only has the nautilus been around forever, but I made this image a loooong time ago haha. 🌀
#SciArtSeptember Day 8 In #ancient times a neuronal hunting party gathers round the campfire...
