While looking for drawing references I reread this specific chapter and I was reminded of this panel of Horus and gosh, he's CRYING.. he's so desperately trying to prevent Seth from accepting the cursed "weapon" that he was even willing to use Seth's weakness against him, Anubis.

I feel like Seth's interactions with animals show a much more amiable and passive side of him. Like even if he wasn't always nice to Horus' bird (and flung it around a lot😭) him letting it perch on him was very sweet! (≚ᄌ≚)

I'm sobbing over the repetition of Horus showing affection/respect to Seth's hands, and that even after Seth was cursed this didn't change. His feelings are so unconditional; even while knowing that this journey that Seth is on will be so painful, he chooses to follow. (´ཀ` )

it's incredibly minor but the very casual way horus has a presence in Seth's mind throughout s2....he doesnt codemn him necessarily but hes aware of horus's capabilities and his strengths and thinks of him by name...something about it i just like?

I enjoy looking at the size and dynamic difference that this panel of Horus holding Seth has in comparison with some of Seth's previous hug-scenes. The cradle-er has become the cradled! Horus' arms look very comfortable too, to be wrapped in his big, warm embrace. (❁ ˵◡ ‿ ◡˵)

Something that never sat right with me is the fact Ra was present at Seth's trial which took place at night. Ra is supposed to sail the sun boat during the night in order to be reborn the next day and Seth even mentions in Ennead that Ra "goes into hiding" when night falls.

Wasn't Osiris, in his own way, continuing to try to do something about Seth's curse and sin?

Osiris is very pushy and Inductive,but his suffering and painstaking efforts are real.
