The difference is most anime begins as a manga. Where as Western Cartoons often begin life as scribbles on restaurant napkins. (Ex: Spongebob)

Right now studios like Cartoon Network are just wish fulfillment for CalArts students.

I translated Renai x Royale and now that it's announced, it's finally time for me to change my pfp to the best girl, Ao-chan-senpai, the maid of honor students.

She makes deadpan puns and constantly does the jitome eyes, so it should be obvious why she's my favorite. https://t.co/Bm2W0LkyRT

When there's discussion about school bullying it's always about students bullying students. Rarely do I see discussion about the teachers being the bully. Some of my worst bullies were my teachers.

I am haunted by Teh Feelz during final exams.  Some students are strong and exude confidence. Others are generating fear pheromones; reminds me of how I felt as a student so many years ago. All I can do is be a kind, fair, and supportive professor.  I believe in these students.

A4. I'm excited about more educators embracing and recognizing as a way to empower students. I'm also excited that we get to have authentic conversations about real issues faced by educators on daily basis

My Wednesday DnD group is meeting tonight this week and I'm excited!

The PC students will have their first opportunities to use the Strixhaven relationship rules to bond or antagonize other students. If things go well the PCs may even take their first exam!

Mr Hatherley fixes the skeleton in his art school - often damaged by the pranks of his students. Here it is missing a forearm. The title ‘Mr Hatherley’s Holiday’ is a joke because he didn’t take holiday and preferred his studio. By Samuel Butler. 1874 ()

This is a freestyle challenge, where teachers can assign a longform challenge for their students.
You create your own topic/theme/guidelines, and your students can submit their work directly to you, or publish it publicly.

This is a term 2 assignment at FZD called "Remote Campsite." It's a great exercise to learn about storytelling through set dressing. Here are some great examples from our current students.
