". . . and a compass peeking out of Nolie’s backpack pocket, which is important to the story. I adore Sylvie’s design, the colors, and the gorgeous lettering of the title, which has a wistful, poetic sensibility." with https://t.co/AIu4lHK3Po

During the collab yesterday I spoke wistfully about all the amazing who I see on my timeline.

I mentioned and about how whenever I see her I always read it as "Mrs. Mothman" & then have to speculate "Does the Mothman know he is married? Does he KNOW?" 🤣

An imaginative look at an imaginative playtime, I'M NOT SYDNEY!, with its sun-dappled watercolours, depiction of time spent outdoors with friends, and quiet wistful ending, beautifully illustrates the slow-moving magic of a childhood summer. 🌱🌺

Finally got around to reading REFUSE by brother-from-another-mother and the incomparable , with on lettering. What a wistful dreamy gorgeous book about inner emotional landscapes and outer worlds. Grief is a planet all its own. Lovely.

The beu'alya, the bluest of butterflies, wander to find more wistful kindred spirits. So many wished for thousands but could sometimes forget their first.

What was your first wish? The one lost within your many desires? (3/?)

[Made this for , finally finished!]

I also think its really compelling that when Kirby returned to Darkseid a decade after the original run he wrote him as wistful and lonely. Disappointed by his own success and alienated by the dehumanizing machinery he helped create. Even gods must die.
