It looks like that's exactly what they're doing. Get hype.

They're even making her look transparent in that scene which is visual imagery for how she feels that it couldn't be real and really ties into her declining mental health. That scene should be right before her breakdown.

OK! I've finished my breakdown. I believe the Sora we see after 2.9 looks this way because of the timeline crossover (the mirror scene where they switch off). This Sora is a mix between KH1 and KH2 Sora's faces and has always been since base game!
