usually do the base colour, shade from above with a darker one maks some lines around the pupil with it than a even darker shade up top with an airbrush again, at the bottom a bright colour airbrushed in with a lil light cycle, around the pupil with the base colour and lightlines

It's crazy how Ichigo could have easily brushed Rukia off like he had done with everyone else but he didn't and instead decided to pour his heart out to her - the girl whom he just met for a couple of weeks. The immediate mutual trust they had for each other is insane 😭😭

I’m not quite sure how to answer, personally — I do a bit of both.

In my case, I tend to mostly do hard lighting because it suits my style, but airbrushed lighting can also work well for more impactful results. Sometimes I mix both in one image.

For facials, we had some facial parts hand-drawn before but we increased in what we can accomplish in 3DCG. We wanted to have the choice of reflecting more three-dimensional acting for entire scene.

Our CG models are being brushed up more as 3D.
