@VCreateArt It’s not convergent species that’s the issues. The pikaclones are a great example. Their designs are each unique, yet share the classic electric cheeks. All I’m saying is that Wiglett’s design needed more to clearly distinguish itself from Diglett.
Why are y'all complaining about Wiglett when the pikaclones are pretty much convergent species of pikachu.
Seriously does Wiglett really has the same body type? If we only cnahge Diglett's appearence like this and would people still think Wiglett is a convergent species? Is the mysterious way they move actually the key of this subject instead of their body types?
I think Wiglett is adorable. I love the idea of pokemon who gained similar traits through convergent evolution. Can't wait to find out it's types. Probably water or water/ground. #wiglettwednesday
1⃣ It's thought that convergent evolution is the cause of Aronicans looking so similar to humans overall, though this is still heavily debated. Many tend to confuse the two species from time to time, despite Aronicans having ridged noses, reddish skin, and spots on their faces.
HE Dyrilla, a Pongine Convergent Gorilla like ape that lives in the Highland forests of the Titan Jungles to avoid the intense lowland competition and predators. Living in groups led by a Matriarch and protected by a White booty male.
Carcinization is an common example of convergent evolution where non-crab crustaceans evolve a wider body and large frontal claws similar to true crabs
Guess that RFake among these 4 candidates, guys. And stop using that inappropriate professional terminology, aka convergent evolution, you’d better check its definition, lmao for this term misuse. I said meme mon, meme matches rfake.
#smaugust2022 Day 2: Wyvern
The common savannah wyvern is a cautious scavenger, notable for its convergent evolution with mundane vultures. Pictured here is a male, identifiable by its iridescent blue wattle and wing membranes.
1⃣ Oddras are the suspiciously otter-like people from the planet Mustellia. Due to their numerous similarities, some believe them to be either the progenitor race to Earth's otter species or the result of convergent evolution between them, though neither theory has been proven.
Little explanation about convergent evolution 🐬🦈

Mostly #digitalpainting & #photomanipulation, recreating #retrosaur/cheap plastic dinosaur toys as convergently evolved "Lost Island" creatures. This kind of application would be great for #dalle2. Style xfer via @DeepDreamGen involves AI in the process.

Mrtyunetra; an extraterrestrial predator that has evolved convergently to the Horten Ho 229 aircraft.
A lot of dragon Pokemon keep convergently evolving into plane-like forms. That seemed to be starting to develop in Garchomp so I pushed it to the logical conclusion. I also wanted to mix in a nod to Macross because Pokemon loves sneaking in Japanese pop culture references.
Since Tyrannosaurus mad low frequency grumbling bellowing noises, it’s safe to assume that Terence from angry birds convergently evolved into T. rex
I love convergent evolution I just wish it was more talked about outside of carcinization. Can we talk about Calicotherium, the horse built like a gorilla??
The Queensland Tiger, an Australian cryptid for #librumprodigiosum
Got carried away thinking about the theoretical evolution and trying to stay accurate to descriptions. Based it mainly on thylacoleo with influences taken from quolls and cats for convergent evolution!
