The DCAU had a pretty cool adaptation of Death of Superman. So instead of just dying, Clark gets sent to a future where he doesn’t have powers and has to forge and scavenge to survive. There’s a reformed Vandal Savage who helps him. Lobo joins the Justice League, it’s just great.

The "Batman & Mr. Freeze: Sub-Zero" animated movie premiered on this day (Mar. 17) back in 1998. It's a bittersweet victory for Victor Fries (though not the end of his story) in this great animated feature that definitely tugs on the heartstrings.

Played these 2 Batman New Adventures PS2 era games from Ubisoft the other day. They’re not undisputed console classics nor are they critical successes but getting to walk around & fight in a 3d TNBA DCAU environment is intoxicating enough for me.

I had an unusual amount of downtime for my shift and found some DCAU style Giganta art that was used in books. Apparently now she has raw super strength without needing to grow, can blow away someone like Wonder Woman without issue, and can rival the Golden Gate Bridge in size.

The Batman Beyond episode "The Last Resort" debuted on this day (Mar. 4) back in 2000. Written by Stan Berkowitz and directed by Curt Geda, this dark and eerily relevant teen-focused episode is one of the stronger efforts from the show's second season!

I'm sorry but for a character with only a handful of lines in total I don't think I've ever loved a side character as quick as I did watching the DCAU than Shining Knight/ Sir Justin.

I've practically memorized his lines from Patriot Act. https://t.co/kwdIMd4RSk

Which Robin did The Joker screw up more? Tim Drake (DCAU) or Jason Todd?

The Batman: The Animated Series episode "Day of the Samurai" debuted on this day (Feb. 23) in 1993! With strong character work and action overcoming the uneven animation, this Steve Perry-written, Bruce Timm-directed tale is a solid return for Kyodai Ken!
