The statistic that only 16% of autistic adults are working in full time paid work is very, very sad. Is the Equality Act 2010 really fit for purpose? I really struggle to see how it is when employers chose (due to financial 'constraints') to 'opt' out.

an employer can’t hold u solely accountable to ur resume alone, which is why most employers have you ALSO manually complete and/or enter your resume/experience and THEN have u sign it.

Doing our duty, fulfilling our roles and supporting the needs of our pupils is what makes us teachers.Our reasonable adjustments should never be overlooked surely? They often are and people are not listening. Frankly some employers are appalling.
