20 years ago today, Lilo & Stitch officially premiered (and it had a full release 5 days later).
It is one of my all-time favorite Disney films and also one of their most unique animated films, with a beautiful family message, fun sci-fi action, and great iconic characters!

Horror movies grew up in a big way when ROSEMARY'S BABY opened OTD in 1968, coinciding with the paperback release of Ira Levin's best-selling novel. It opened the door to a host of big-budget, classy films, as well as a new generation of writers.
I love too many #Ghibli films, but My Neighbor Totoro will always hold a special place in my heart.

Basically "kil" can't see what really matters in this subgenre. ppl like this *are* the clueless megalomaniacs comic book heroes fight against. In the best cbm films, superheroes don't win by physical means, they win by outsmarting the villain.
