ngl i'm really digging the result of crunching the number of total colors down with the artistic effect filter. i think with the right compositing it could work well for something painterly looking

By wasted potential: the original characters were designed by the same artist who made Resort Boin and Kanojo×Kanojo×Kanojo and then the series put them through a digi-paint generic filter.

These are supposed to be the same character (left is the original, right is the series).
