the main tricks i used were distant things having their lines broken by rain lines (little straight lines make object seem blurred), as well as a halo of splashes on foreground stuff. Not sure if thats optimal but I think I probably stole this strat from someone smarter.

And also I have several artworks on the Foundation, a beautiful collaboration artwork where I drew a mermaid and foreground, and my artwork of a beautiful elf princess. Soon there will be one more princess ☺

Oh, and I love this shot. There's three layers of action in the foreground and the action is happening all the way in the background with Roger getting out of the Griffon.

Masterful.

20 May 1917 Feldwebel Karl Kaszala (foreground) and Hautpmann Godwin Brumowski (background), attacked a SPAD XI over the Monte Santo and shot it down.

Ok this new feature of Dall E 2, outfilling, is amazing! We can take an existing drawing and expand it to make full size banners or posters! Still using a human (paid) artist for the important and fun to draw character/foreground, and letting an AI artist generate the background! https://t.co/P53jLbMpdA

A few more. I didn't remove the foreground for the halloween one cuz it looks weird without it.

An alien bazaar! More detail needs to be added to the foreground but here is the progress of it till now.

Yesterday's waterfall pour dried well! I'll be considering what details to add. Probably a tree on one of the foreground rocks. Hopefully, we can find a spot for our temple in the distance.

Woah. training data on horses is really good.

Prompt: "a stunning fantasy scene, with a beautiful magic white horse with a sparkling flowing mane in the foreground, highly detailed, with lens flare"

For now it's the brushes in the bg. why? My intention since "hope" was to bring traditional painting vibes to my Art, giving it a peculiar style. The foreground presents a subject in which you can feel the story they bring with them. That + story is what I consider my zing 👉👈

thinking abt the moments where we see the brothers *before* hollow mind and how caleb is always positioned in the foreground, slightly overshadowing philip

I wanted to incorporate playing cards, but didn't want to overload her coordinate with too many disparate elements, so I worked them in as flying debris. The Queen of Hearts & Jack (aka Knave) of Hearts are in the foreground, as they're notable characters in the story.

I know i said i would do the background, but the reality-warp i had planned for it turned into a foreground thing again. It is hard to balance it to preserve the distortion without it looking just like compressions-artifacts, but i think this is too opaque.

me: has literal hundreds of hours in this program
also me: "oh my god you can flatten something to the foreground and then use a clipping mask to make it look like its coming out from underneath"

Thank you for your support on this piece.

This one turned out mostly as planned, but the foreground was originally going to be flames. In the end, I preferred the water effect instead.

Once we landed on a composition they liked (below), I asked them more specifically about details:

- no character in the foreground, replace
- post-industrial-ish cityscape
- clouds

I did some pre-processing of the image to facilitate this for the next step

Yesterday we introduced you to Bob the Seal, and asked why he's called Bob. Well here is the reason we chose the name for this specific foreground trait.

The collective noun for a group of seals is called a Bob!

willow's even already a little bit more in the foreground than hunter in the first picture here so like... bigger difference still
