Fav Deviant: Ngl I haven't faced all the deviants yet. But so far I think the Rustrazor Ceanataur is the coolest one. Using a Glavenus skull as a shell to sharpen its claws behind its back to a even deadlier degree is NUTS!
[RTs are very much appreciated]
so my comms would never sell and I assumed my prices were too high, so: New Fish Comms!!!
Please dm me here or on discord (Fishie#5258), but I'll also respond to email via: glavedeap@gmail.com ;v;
I only have 2 slots for now
The Hellblade Glavenus is my fave deviant monster in Monster Hunter.
#MonsterHunter
After fighting all of the Deviants in MHGU, I have to say, my favorite one is Hellblade Glavenus. There were some close contenders, which were Bloodbath Diablos, Thunderlord Zinogre and Rustrazor Shogun Ceanataur, but Hellblade was just awesome through and through.
here's my sorta rushed and definitely very anatomically correct theory for the namahage monster being announced in the #MHRise event tomorrow!
its her.....glavenus 2
Another monster hunter sprite. This was for my friend Niv, his OC as Glavenus
it was so hard to choose but i gotta go with...

This abnormal intake causes more heat to build up inside of its body than usual, making its shell glow red and forcing it to release as much heat as possible. This process is how a Hellblade Glavenus is born.
If an individual constantly sharpens its tail, it results in it ingesting more of these rich minerals in its body than usual. It also results in these minerals adhering to a majority of its body, including its eyes, discoloring the Glavenus.
Like Glavenus, Rustrazor Ceanataur sharpens its sickle-like claws with ore. Rather than rubbing its claws on mineral-covered walls as Glavenus does with its tail, it instead sharpens its claws within the jaws of the Glavenus skull it carries.
Rustrazor Ceanataur is known to use the skull of a Gravios and the skull of a Glavenus, and it utilizes both in different ways. While the Gravios skull is used for ranged combat, the Glavenus skull is used for physical combat.
A Ceanataur usually develops a venom sac, but, in some rare instances, a Ceanataur doesn't develop one, causing the individual to mainly use its pincers to protect itself as it grows up. As it grows, it finds a Glavenus skull and recognizes that skull's potential.
