Mary, more than anyone else, was no doubt, the most deeply hurt by the death of Jesus. The pain of watching her only son scourged, made to carry the cross, dragged through the street, stripped publicly & crucified like a robber must have been a heart-wrenching experience for her.
Today is #GoodFriday where we remember the life, and death of Jesus. But as a community of faith, we look forward in hope to Easter Sunday. This is why Catholics call today day 'Good' Friday.
