My mom has been calling me magpie since forever and it's also a bird that has always been around our neighborhood. I still remember the first time seeing one! Magpies are now my fav animal too ❤️

Magpies in Wales, are seen as either a death omen or a warning for a journey to become hazardous
I will clean up the Welsh in the last panel so it’s a bit more grammatically accurate, but the saying goes if you greet the magpie you can negate the omen.
