They're massive yokai that simply blocks walkways and paths. Their appearance may vary, from either a odd invisible beast, to a Wall Mimic. You can just politely ask them to move away if you encounter either form.

Fun fact. Two years ago we learned about digital comics at school and had to make a lil practice game in powerpoint, super simple.

Mine was called "Is It A Mimic?", and you had to click objects in a room and rotate them around until you found a mimic.

That was the game.
