(6) The "why do I hate this?" stage! Sometimes inevitable, a near-scrap overhaul. Very crucial, if initially demoralizing. I was trying to add energy TO blue, and went back to a "less is more" approach, using a deep ochre as a base. More collaging! Here are some Photoshop notes.

Zorn palette. Study to take mind off *extra* .
It's a interesting exercise.. I never felt like I couldn't "get there" with what I had to work with. Yellow ochre, ivory black, vermilion and titanium white was enough even when I was kinda wanting Blue..
