in the games kukui lost the lance, i'm sure anime wise kukui's lost is what made lance an elite, let ash battle the champ of his region

1 year ago today, JN51 aired in Japan where we got to see the beginning of Farfetch’d’s mini development arc. We got an epic PWC battle that really showcased Farfetch’d’s skill and also introduced Rinto, who would play a key role later! Loved this episode!
