I initially planned a quadtych like Mucha’s seasons paintings, with a harvest scene, but I found it to be too flat and equal, and didn’t communicate a cycle. Though the character does create heroes feasts the harvest/feast scene didn’t feel fitting

@izbubbles I think what's happening is people remember the pointed white boots he had in that scene, and the various other V and X shaped guitars that appear on the show and official art, and are kinda mentally meshing them together.

scrapped experiment using a zigzag/diamond pattern on the slarpg battle ui (2019). probably inspired by menus from sonic advance 3? i felt like it added unnecessary visual information to the scene, so it was scrapped immediately, but it does look neat

@kyoruyeye When I first watched this scene, it just screamed love to me. His apologies, his effort to console her, and her soft blush during it. It’s not the perfect romance scene but it shows real life. People make mistakes and can still be there for someone they love.
