So @JiskeyJasket got me thinking about armor and mecha all day at work today, and when I got home I made my approach to it. Break it down into shapes, and connect and refine them. It’s gonna look horrible, it takes a good understanding of 3D shapes but don’t be discouraged yall!

to what I draw now as an almost 19 year old. Granted, all of my life was art for the last couple of years, I studied hard as a hobbyist, and I'd say I've still got a long ways to go

@Random_Blorper don’t discourage people from doing what they love. everyone improves with time and effort.
The difference between years of improvement is still surreal to me. I'm happy that I didn't let myself get too discouraged.

@chelseakenna I was 17/18 years old in 2009 when I STARTED drawing. The last two are from this year, I'm now 31 and so glad I didn't quit. There are always going to be people who will try to discourage you. The best revenge is success, and you should do what you want! Those people can go off.

I learned how to draw, my hands are to shaky, I have a deformed finger that doesn't allow to use a pen in my right hand (due an accident) , so I become left handed by force.

@Random_Blorper @KamDaFloof I used to draw only a low detail fox before and with people saying good things about it even some constructive criticism it helped me grow. With no one saying good things about your art or ignoring it fully just discourages people from drawing to improve. Look at my Art im 18 btw
@Random_Blorper The first one was from when I was 17 and the second one is from a couple of days ago and I’m 23 now. Improvement exists and people shouldn’t be discouraged if their art isn’t “good” or not, just let people be happy.
