Oh yeah of course you don't remember Ristar, but that one RPG that trashtalked SEGA's game consoles competition, yeah yeah of course. https://t.co/8SQBC79At8
Alright then, Four purple characters I like?
Neff the Warlock('s rhino fursona)-Altered Beast
Purge-Space Channel 5
Sailor Saturn-Sailor Moon
Wave the Swallow-Sonic Riders.
A bit unbalanced in Sega's favor, but the gender balance is there. XP https://t.co/1MepwduSDz
new renders of Samba and Raphael from two of Sega's Rhythm Games
Samba De Amigo and Rhythm Thief~
I'd really love a proper sequel to these games someday
also grabbed SEGA's E3 2002 set which includes Super Monkey Ball 2 art... in psd format so you can remove the shadow and decoration layers, or just have AiAi, etc
original design by @/horitomo_stateofgrace on instagram for sega's yakuza games ! if you haven't played them ur honestly missing out
Final post for today. Pengo for the Atari 8-bit computers! Sega's cute action game staring a penguin named Pengo trying to smash the invading Sno Bees. https://t.co/v7ddiUNtfz
!!!Alright guys I'll admit it. I have been copying SEGA's style and work. I have referenced Their art so heavily and made it my own!!!
This is stupid.THIS IS STUPID. Pathetic! We as artists are inspired together, and we grow together. Experiment together. And learn from each other
Our ETERNAL CHAMPIONS SPECIAL bonus episode is out now! Out to take on Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat, Sega's homegrown fighting game was getting a big push in 1994, and this special 48-page one-shot from the folks behind STC led the charge! #STCTP

@Renard_Pixel Yeah. Seems like since SEGA's got their hands on the IP, Puyo's been strictly puzzle for the most part. The characters have crossed over into other franchises (mostly mobile games) and even the main series has shaken up the standard Puyo formula from time to time
Concept art for Sega's unreleased Virtua Hamster on the 32X. You can really tell the artist(s) were having fun here!
These were found in GamePro magazine's art archives, which were very generously gifted to us. One day we hope to have this all indexed and ready to be accessed!
To celebrate @bitmap_books new Atari 2600/7800 compendium, let's take a look at some great artwork for Sega's arcade ports. I really love the look Sega had for its Atari line of ports. The art style was great.
Arabian Fight (Arcade, 1992). Running on Sega's System 32 hardware, the brawler uses Yu Suzuki's Super Scaler tech to pull off neat depth of field trickery. It also plays anime movie sequences directly over the game when using magic specials - a similar art style to Road Avenger.
The second of two #commissions by @NimzyNomz of one of Sega's pre-#SonicTheHedgehog mascots, Alex Kidd!
(Alex Kidd belongs to @SEGA.)

God I really love Sega's late 90s-early 00s character designs, they exude this really strong groovy aura that's hard for me to explain.
