2022- There's already been a lot of shows I've enjoyed this year and I'm excited for a lot more, but so far Kaguya S3 has been on another level, in terms of non sequels I have to give Ya Boy Kongming an honorable mention, its a very unique concept with a lot of great characters

I watched SKYLINE when it first came out and left me cold. Didn’t watch the sequels until today and holy shit they are fun. It takes a hard turn from the original film and kicks it up a few notches. Great scifi flicks along with some wonderful action sequences. Bravo.

Again, not much I can say about FLCL (thanks to overhyping in the anglo sphere). The epitome of weird Gainax. Fantastic style. Never needed sequels. A+ no notes (but then again I've not watched it in a LONG time)

With this story, I highly recommend MGS1 and 2. These two games are the best to play back to back. 1 is a classic and 2 is one of the best sequels ever created. 2 is also the best Metal Gear.
