I'm not entirely sold on Carnage's design for the upcoming movie.

I feel like red they chose is too muddy, and we'll barely see the cool black splotches his design is known for.

Like he's more Venom than Carnage??

Personally, only delicate veining and spotting/splotching. Nothing too thick and elaborate (linewise). Personally like the thought of it fading into smoke/shadow, like theyre almost ephemeral.

Something that I feel is sorely missing about is the texture overlay style that was EXTREMELY prominent in the original game and its spin-offs.

I DO like that all the flashbacks use the old art (whereas all new scenes use new art).

But man, I miss that splotchiness
