This entire mess started because of this chonk-armed emo-kid without a setting back in 2017
His name is Emery and he was originally supposed to be the mc, but I couldn't come up with a story I liked for him so he's been downgraded to side-character with a subplot lmao
@WriterSideUp @Kateywrites PHINEAS AND FERB is a half-hour musical Disney cartoon series detailing the adventures of 2 brothers who have madcap creator adventures during the 104 days of Summer vacation (w/o getting “busted” by their big sister), featuring a secret-agent-pet-battles-supervillain subplot.
A moment where YouTubers would claim that Space Battleship Yamato 2199 is "woke" is over changing the gender of a barely there character. Overall not a bad character, but the love triangle subplot was definitely something that didn't work.
There are various subplots (Alfred is sick, there's a social worker, Bane, Man-Bat's kid, two other main plots) at play here but there are a few cute moments of the Family like this. So brother/sister the two are acting here it's cute.
hhhhnnnnggg a follower on tumblr gave me an idea and now the blog might be going into a subplot. have an onion fairy
@princessxemnas Ngl the comic is hilarious for dragging out this whole subplot just to make fun of Makko and then revealing he's actually fully supportive of them just intimidated !
Idea: instead of consuming mediocre england wizard school garbage, watch Hamefura. It takes place in a magic academy, starts off light, has surprisingly involved subplots, intrigue, and mysteries; also the protagonist inadvertently accrues a bisexual harem.
having different villain factions in toku shows is interesting, I think this further enriches the world of the hero and it create cool subplots sometimes.
The live-action #SailorMoon drama was the first televised property to incorporate the subplot of the Shitennō being Endymion's past-life guardians, but it didn't adapt the romantic pairings Naoko Takeuchi envisioned. Rather, Nephrite was semi-paired up with Ami. #SailorMoonTrivia
"The Loch Ness Monster goes on a killing spree. There are three subplots: the monster's egg that is ready to hatch, a scientist who wants to capture the beast, and a mysterious sunken Nazi bomber plane which the military is trying to cover up."
AND SOMEHOW IT'S BORING!
i became too invested in the accidental romantic subplot between him and our cleric elf...my boy got critical’d by one punch fish (and he has abysmal max HP) so a Healing was in order
An I didn't want to put it on the cover cuz its not the focus, but as a gay dude, I can't help but make all my protagonists gay so you you can totally read it for the LGBT+ romantic subplot if you want.
It's a classic long-running multi-arc comic, with subplots like:
🌿 Monster plant interrupts Magic Reincarnated Hamilton
☀️ Evil megacorp uses Dark Magical Boy to take out the competition
⛑️ Mine collapse requires multi-month rescue w/tiny engineers
🎶 Bilingual karaoke!
@Wriizzyarts Yooooo! We're a storytelling/worldbuilding duo working on a couple comics atm: "Penelope" is a cybernoir minus the romantic subplot; meanwhile, "A Boy & His Gods" is fulllllll of LGBT+ romance. Follow for updates on when they become available to read (free online)!

@GitGudNami i am a being of culture and as such i like plot subplot a personalty of all art
i had a dream that i was watching spiderverse but there was a subplot i had forgotten about where a really fat cat was trying to get a cooked turkey that kept narrowly evading his grasp and i was all, “i can’t believe i never noticed how spiderverse ripped off ice age.”
