I love the first transformations of the third season of Digimon... how they all lose their skin and gain it back and they make it look kinda strange and painful. Plus, AFAIK they were all animated by Sushio, who is one of my favorite animators.

First, the final Blu-ray/DVD cover, by Sushio (sushio_)! SO sweet. Ryuko hugs Senketsu, presumably about to Sync and become one with him. *This* is what Kill la Kill ultimately wants you to take away from it. The Promare cover gave me flashbacks.
